It is a well known fact that Sujatha Vidyalaya, Colombo presently located at Nugegoda is a prestigious girls' school with a heritage of glorious history as a well established and well disciplined institution making a very significant contribution in the sphere of education. The origin and early phase of Sujatha Vidyalaya is the story of a dedicated personality who deserves the highest tribute that one could pay. He is none other than late Mr. Linton Kuruppu the founder and Architect of Sujatha Vidyalaya. His ambition was to develop Sujatha Vidyalaya into a fully pledged girls' school in Colombo which he did see in his life time along with late Mrs. Clara Motwani as the founder Principal. Both together laid the foundation for solid progress and witness the rapid improvement.

Managing Director's Message

Sujatha Vidyalaya owes its existence to the determined effort and hard work of my late father Linton Kuruppu. I am left with the responsibility of shouldering the task single – handed – to fulfill the much-needed transition to face the challenges of the new era. I feel that the greatest tribute to my father would be to revere his noble vision only by making Sujatha Vidyalaya reach the greatest heights. Emerging as one of the Islands best private schools, Sujatha Vidyalaya is proud of its achievements.
